About District 32

Broward County, originally considered to be named Everglades County, was founded on April 30th, 1915. According to the 2020 Census Bureau estimate, Broward County has a population of over 1,944,375 people. Broward County is Florida's second-most populous county, after Miami-Dade County, and the 17th-most populous in the United States. Its largest city, Fort Lauderdale, has a population of 182,760 people. 

District 32 includes the cities of Tamarac, Plantation, Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes, Sunrise, Oakland Park, North Lauderdale, and parts of Fort Lauderdale.
